Principal Pre-Sales Engineer

A Global leading Telecommunications provider is looking to add a Principal Pre-Sales Engineer into their growing Pre-Sales team. Designing systems for clients that include the 5 keys Vendors that they work with.

To be successful as a Principal Pre-Sales Engineer you will need to have experience and be a subject matter expert in either Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Fortinet and Forescout, ideally working knowledge of more than 1. Experience in leading a team or managing a project will help to stand out from the crowd. You will be working closely with the Sales team, going out to customer sites and aiding on technical demonstrations.

• Technical Design Competence – being able to complete security designs on complex and standard solutions, keeping in line with governance processes
• Communication Skills – It is a customer facing role, so the ability to build relationships with customers is key to be a success
• Assimilation – Understanding the customer requirement and the technical details of the portfolio
• Ability to Empathise and Prioritise – Adhere to the time pressured world of a Sales environment. You must have the ability to operate within a commercial environment
• Enthusiasm – Keep up to date with the latest security development, needing to be self-motivated and keen to broaden their knowledge
