Head of Security Service Management

We are looking for a Head of Security Service Management to work closely with the Managing Director to develop the Managed Service offering to their clients. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work closely with the business and its clients at a time of rapid growth. 

The organisation is part of a larger group with revenues in excess of €50BN. The parent company has a huge portfolio of businesses, this organisation provides ICT solutions for its clients. It is developing a Managed Service solution for Cyber Security and is able to draw on the extensive resources and relationships it has across the Group. It is both Microsoft’s and IBM’s biggest partner in Germany.

The Head of Security Service Management will work very closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on the services available. You will lead a team of technical consultants to deliver the best solutions for the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the organisations transition to a Managed Service organisation, developing innovative solutions for their customers
• Work closely with the Managing Director and sales team to identify key target customers and markets
• Meeting with customers to understand their requirements, provide expert insight and opinion
• Managing the team of Architects and Consultants, ensuring accurate resources and capacity planning
• Hire, train and develop additional staff as the organisation grows
• Develop internal processes, policies and procedures

This exciting opportunity requires an exceptional individual. You will have a blend of client facing skills and a solid understanding of technical details. As a leader in Cyber Security you’ll be as comfortable discussing complex services with non-technical individuals as well as architects. You will be a natural leader with the ability to persuade and influence. It is essential you have business fluent German and strong English conversational skills. It is highly preferable that you come from a managed services environment.
