Main responsibilities:

Our Client is a leader in specialises in bringing innovative and exciting ideas to life across a vast array of services in the digital transformation space. Their services operate in the fields of AI, IoT and many more. Their clients include some of the largest businesses globally in Finance, Manufacturing, logistics and number of other industries. 

They are looking for a Business Development Director to join their growing UK based team. The Director will be leading and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers, in addition you will be a leading individual contributor in the UK targeting some of the UK’s largest businesses.


Key Responsibilities;

  • Define and implement the Marketing and Sales strategy for the UK in alignment with the global Sales and Marketing strategy.
  • Define the key account strategy for the business in the UK, both with prospect and existing accounts
  • Responsible for bringing in some of the biggest clients in the UK
  • Develop existing key accounts
  • Aid in the development of the technical offering to customers
  • Onboarding of strategic partners

Experience;

  • At least 10 years’ experience of Software Development Sales
  • Experience of selling into Banking, Insurance, Telecoms and/or Utilities
  • Experience in defining Sales and Marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of traditional, agile and iterative development

In return of a highly competitive basic salary after 1 year you will be able to move into a Partner level where you will earn equity on top. In addition, you will be part of a business who are looking to develop their business on a global level with plans to open up offices in the USA during 2019.
