Privacy Consultant - Director

A globally renowned consulting firm is looking for highly experienced Privacy Consultants to work with clients on their Privacy programmes. Predominantly this will be helping them to achieve compliance with new legislation, build processes that are less complex and more effective and work with the business to implement effective governance. They are recognised as a thought leader in this field and work on high profile businesses.

Key duties

• Assessing data privacy compliance
• Designing and implementing data protection and privacy programs
• PIA Assessments
• Data governance and discovery tool implementation
• Define and deploy processes to detect and prevent privacy breaches
• Create data privacy governance structures

Applications are welcome from Privacy professionals who have experience of delivering projects within a consultancy environment. You will likely have a law degree, or have gained relevant qualifications post degree, such as CIPP/E, CISM etc.

You should have first class communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. You will have strong commercial skills and be able to tailor your approach to different client priorities. The role has elements of UK wide travel to client sites.
